Return Policy

Since our sheds can be purchased as a DIY kit or with professional installation, different return policies apply. Please review the section that matches the option you selected.


DIY Shed Kits

Our sheds are delivered as DIY kits and arrive curbside at your home for easy offloading.

Inspection at Delivery:

  • Customers are responsible for inspecting their shed kit at the time of delivery.
  • If damaged or missing parts are noticed, contact Shed Liquidators immediately at customerservice@backyardproducts.com.

Returns/Cancellations:

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you need to return your shed for any reason, you have 30 days after you receive your product to submit a return claim.

  • Returns may only be requested before the kit is assembled. Once a shed has been built, it cannot be returned.
  • Returned kits must be in their original packaging and in like-new condition. Severely damaged or incomplete kits will not be eligible for a refund.
  • All return requests are subject to a 25% restocking fee, whether the order has been delivered or not.

  • This return policy only applies to products purchased on Shed Liquidators.

Warranty:

  • If a product defect arises during or after assembly, our warranty applies. Please contact customer service with photos and details and replacement parts will be provided as outlined in our warranty policy.

Professional Installation

Damage during delivery:

Sheds are packaged and palletized in a warehouse and are offloaded by hand by the installer(s). If any damage is identified during delivery or installation, Shed Liquidators will document the issue and make the necessary repairs or replacements at no additional cost to the customer.

Delivery Location:

Delivery will occur to a public street or public right of way nearest to the install location. Shed Liquidators cannot guarantee, and is not responsible for, movement of the product across private property between the delivery location and the building pad, except as specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions.

Movement of Product:

Certified installation includes moving the product components up to 100 feet from the delivery location to the prepared building pad, provided there are no obstructions, steps, or significant grade changes along the path.

Returns/Cancellations:

  • Sheds are delivered by the installer on the scheduled installation date.
  • Once our sheds have been installed, it cannot be returned.
  • If a failure occurs after installation, Shed Liquidators may request images and/or a site visit. If the product is deemed defective and covered under warranty, Shed Liquidators will complete the necessary repairs at no cost to the customer.
  • If a return is requested prior to delivery and/or installation, a 25% restocking fee will apply.

  • This return policy only applies to products purchased on Shed Liquidators.

Fees:

  • The $299 Permit Service fee will be refunded only if purchased and no permit is required.
  • Engineered drawing fees are non-refundable once drawings have been prepared.
  • If cancellation occurs after permit or engineered drawing costs have been incurred, those costs will be deducted from the refund.
  • The actual permit cost is the customer’s responsibility and is not refundable through Shed Liquidators.
